Urban Innovation in Africa Virtual Panel Session
Utopia is hosting a virtual event on Urban Innovation in Africa in partnership with the Skoll World Forum
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
Utopia is hosting a virtual panel session on Urban Innovation in Africa as part of this year's Skoll World Forum Week.

This event will explore Africa's inevitable urban future and different unique insights on urban innovation in Africa through the perspective of leading urban practitioners and innovators. The panel will include Edward Glaeser (Harvard University), Abosede Alimi (LSETF), Miriam Roure (URBAN-X), Astrid Haas (IGC), George Kibala Bauer (GSMA) and moderated by Emmanuel Adegboye (Utopia). To learn more and register, please visit here.
During the event, we'll also announce the Lagos Urban Innovation Challenge. With how much change is happening across the world, now is the time to start to imagine what the future of our cities look like and we want to support innovators and entrepreneurs building towards that. We will prioritise support for scalable solutions that address what a post COVID-19 future looks like for Lagos and how to make the city better for everyone, including those in slums and informal settlements. More details to come during the announcement. Please reach out to me if you or your organisation would love to partner with us in doing this.
Looking forward to having you join us on the call next week. Stay safe!
